picked this up for 50$ says lightly cleaned cleaned is cleaned to me and its to bad but i have no vams so i bought it does it look cleaned to you?
wow after seeing it like this maybe i should of passed i will never buy a cleaned coin again unless no i wont
So you answered your own question and if that is the sellers idea of lightly cleaned it would hurt to imagine what a harshly cleaned coin would like by their own definition. Often times we are all tempted to question our belief system to rationalize why this coin belongs in our set or collection. On the bright side consider yourself lucky if you learned this lesson for 50 dollars, it takes some people a 1200 dollar coin to learn this same lesson.
right you are thanks for that im glad it wasnt 1200 dollar coin lesson learned. maybe if i toned it i could sell it for 1000$ never would i do that honesty is best.
take my word for it 7/8 strong tailfeathers dont really matter it was still cleaned taking as lesson learned thats all cant get better pic or i would do you think it could be worth more then 50$ or less ill still hold on to it
That depends the cleaning definitely hurts the price, but it all depends on what 7/8 VAM it is, there are a few top 100, 50, and 40 VAMs for the 7/8, so I couldn't say without knowing what VAM.
For the VAM 39 IMO on a good day maybe you could get around $30, the coin still has great details, without the cleaning it would probably be worth around $50.
