Hi Kiera, and welcome to the forum.

Since the 1992 devaluation of Mexican currency, the "original denomination" of that 1967 series 1 peso note is 1/10 of 1 current centavo. The current exchange rate is about 10.8 pesos to the U.S. dollar. That makes your note equal to 1/108th of a U.S. cent. Chances are it's worth more as recycling paper than as money! ;)

Currency collectors like crisp unfolded, unmarked bills, and in the condition of yours, it's really nothing but a novelty.

I know the bill is in really poor conditions, after all it was given to me by my grandmother's sister and she took it out of some bag hidden in a dark humid place. I think I kind of forgot about the depresion... I was 4 by that time, I remember buying soda and chips for $500 pesos :D ... er...kind of out topic.

    Well thanks any way :)
