i was looking for a real 1955 dd but never found one, over the time i got about 120LBS of wheat pennys. if i was to sell them what would be a fair price. they are a good mix with even 1909 pennys in this big bag.

Not sure of their worth , but since they were searched , probably not too much .

My local dealer buys them at 3¢ each.

You can typically buy them at 5¢ each for just common dates.

I have no idea when these were pulled, but if they were taken from the 50's and 60"s, they could be worth more and much more if you happen to be from the SF area. Try contacting Arizona Jack. He might be interesting in buying them.

You may want to sell a few of them individually, like the 1909s.....

i have paid $10.00 a roll and $89.00 for 1000 pennys from people on ebay and there pennys were not very good to me. i have alot of teens and S mint wheats, i think i will mix them all together and roll them and sell them on ebay at five dollars a roll and thats cheaper then alot of rolls on there right now and i have indian head pennys to put with the mix so i think the people who get a roll from me will be happy because theres no way one of my rolls could be only 40's and 50's.

Just to give you some perspective, a budgood bag (5000 pennies) went for ~$275. I would be extremely surprised if your quality comes near his, but he was selling his at $2.75 per roll or $55.00 per 1000

Yes you can find 55's very easy but what he said he was looking for was a 1955 doubled die, something you are not very likely to find in circulations.
