Really? They have been discussed on the varous coin forums for over three years, ever since their legislation was passed back in 2005.

I really don't think people are hoarding them because I don't believe people have had a chance to get them yet, but I may be wrong. I believe these coins are still stock piled at the reserve.

The die clash shown earlier in this thread is real and would probably fetch a decent sum of money. Everything else I have seen reported to be errors or varieties on 2009 cents so far has been either really minor stuff not worth mention, or nothing at all.

I agree Charles Die Clash maybe Big $$$

But I been seeing trapped gas in planchet calling them smoking Abe & junk like that being list on fleabay as an error.

The bad thing is someone will buy it thinking they have a true error

dont tell me what my business is, its not your business. Of course the mint should be ashamed for having customers who are ashamed to carry on the business with people who are ashamed but will gladly do business with them for profit. as you rightly said you should be ashamed and you are and i am not going to argue with that.

    Really?

Really? I am not talking about the coins themselves I'm talking about the 2-roll sets and the lack of distribution.
Are you sure you heard about that last year? I don't think you did.
In fact I don't think any of us knew of these things until about Feb. of this year???

neat, I found ALOT of those, about a third of the roll, but I found one that is a double thumb but it is completely seperated from the other thumb and lower than this one, more towards the book, Wonder what this is? Looks like the mint is going to have a bunch of quality control issues again,

The double thumb error on ebay sounds like about a $10 penny.

    Go for it

I found one in change today, and also have acquired almost a full roll (of log cabins) in 3 bank boxes so far...so I think they are making their way into circulation, slowly, but surely.

I have gotten at leas 5-6 of the second issue in change, all D mints, funny because for the first issue I couldn't get D mints and had tons of P mints.
