Hi, I found this penny today in my pocket change...it is a large penny exactly like this one

But there is NO date and it is not simply worn off because the coin is in as good as condition as the one in this picture....Is it worth anything?

It is a hassle for me to get the digital camera going so unless there is a huge interest I won't take a picture of it.

A photo would be a HUGE help in determining what you have.

Well, the date could be worn off, but still have good details on the rest of the coin
Pictures, will need to be seen to say anything about what you have
(AND GETTING LARGE CENTS IN CHANGE??? NEVER HEAD OF THAT BEFORE! NICE FIND)

There are several varieties in the late 1830's that typically come with very weak dates. This happened again in the mid 1850's. Without good pictures it would be difficult to tell if your coin is just worn, an error, or normal for that variety.
