I nearly missed this coin today. It was so bright that I would never have suspected it to be as old as it is. About 3-4 steps visible on Monticello. Pictures are a little dull but the coin has full luster like a mint coin. What would this grade? Worth Grading? Value? Thanks for your help.
Grade: AU, maybe. When you say "worth grading" do you mean, is it worth sending it in to a third-party certification service? If so, then no. Value: 5-8 cents. If it had full steps, then about $100, but you stated only 3-4 steps. I suppose if it had 4 really nice steps, you could get a couple of bucks for it.
