Is this the earliest known major crack in a Lincoln die? Even if it's not, it's pretty neat. What do you grade this, verdigris and all (yeah, while it didn't come out in the pics, some of those dark spots are actually, yuk, greenish!). Thanks! To put it in perspective, it is a minor crack and it is something that has happened on cents of every year. Thanks, Bill
I called it a major crack as opposed to a major break or cud which it isn't because as far as cracks go it's pretty darn strong and unmistakable. But I appreciate your perspective, nonetheless. Thanks.
