1911 Lincoln that's all that it's cracked up to be :)

    Is this the earliest known major crack in a Lincoln die? Even if it's not, it's pretty neat. What do you grade this, verdigris and all (yeah, while it didn't come out in the pics, some of those dark spots are actually, yuk, greenish!). Thanks!

    EDIT: It might help you some if I posted the pics, coming right up! :eek:

    To put it in perspective, it is a minor crack and it is something that has happened on cents of every year.

    I called it a major crack as opposed to a major break or cud which it isn't because as far as cracks go it's pretty darn strong and unmistakable. But I appreciate your perspective, nonetheless. Thanks.
