Does anybody else had a problem with refund from US Mint?
I returned the order with 3 items. 2 were credited and 1 was not. I tried to call numerous times and all I can get from the Mint representative and from accounting is that if the warehouse did not put it in the computer, it was not there. So it is my word against theirs. The item inquestion is worth over $1,200 and I do not feel like giving it as a gift to US Mint. I am totally lost and do not know what to do.
Any advise will be highly appreciated.:rolling:

What kind of a time frame are we talking about here? With such a valuable return shipment did you send it back "registered mail"? Hope this gets sorted out for you.....

Thanks for replying. Yes, it was Registered and Mint received and signed for it (I have all the paperwork). But they insist that there was less item in the box than there really was. Since they are Federal Goverment agency I can't even go to Small Claims Court...
Anybody has any more suggestions, please?

Did you insure it? With that kind of money I would hope. Try talking to a lawyer.

Did you pay for it with a Credit card? Dispute the charge since it was returned and not credited.

This is what I did and credit card took money from them. But then the Mint send me notes that I have to pay or they will report me to collection agency? I was thinking about small claim court, but found our that you can't take a Federal Agency to Small Claims court... Looks to me like somebody is stealing stuff there. If I hire a lawyer it will cost more than they owe me!!!
