These are 2 common years for Peace dollars. Lets grade these as we see them. One coin has a die crack. The first 4 photos are of the same coin. I will put the second coin in the next post. Thanks, and all comments are welcomed. Bruce
Peace dollars are tough to grade, particularly if they aren't in hand. I see enough definition in the eagle's wing to know they are well struck. I'm confident they will both go at least AU, but beyond that it's hard to tell.
The 1924 might have a shot at going MS60, can't tell if there is wear The 1923 looks AU to me Both solid AU's
Nice coins! I'm thinking an AU-50 for the 23 and an MS-60 for the 24. It is a little hard to grade without the coin in hand.
Thanks for your opinions on these 2 coins. Now that I see the photos I realize that they suck. I don't think the quality of these coin come through with the poor quality of the photos I took. Both coins are supposed to be MS 60-63. In hand there is no wear but these are definitely in the lower echelon of uncirculated coins. Actually, I couldn't discern the die crack on the 1924 with the pictures I took. I'll try to remedy that and take pictures from a different aspect and in different lighting. Please bear with me as I try to capture the coin as it is. Bruce
