Hi. I just got a few coins from my grandmother, and I have no idea if they are worth anything. there is: a 1902 Liberty nickel, with the picture quite faded, and the face nearly rubbed off. I'd say it's in pretty bad condition, but I'm not sure if the date means anything. An Indian head penny from 1905, with a few inperfections, but otherwise in wonderful condition. and one from 1897, in worse condition. two 1940 dimes, in fairly good condition, and one from 1945. one buffalo nickel that's so rubbed off I can't read the date. also a few random foreign coins, like a 1993 50 pfennig, a 1978 10 pfennig, and a 1970 5 pfennig. a 1941 25-cent Canadian coin. a 1954 six pence, and a 1982 twenty pence. a 1940 10 Norwegian coin. I'm not sure if anyone can get so much as an idea out of my terrible discreptions, but I just thought I'd post them. thanks, KittiWillow14
is it possible to post images of these coins? A lot of folks around here can help you out with book values, but since a coin's grade can have such a dramatic effect on a coin's value, it's hard to guage where your coins may fall - unless there is an image or something to look at.
The 1941 Canadian quarter has a value from bullion (.15 troy ounces) up to F-12 to $20.00 Cdn in MS-60. Bill
Howdy KittiWillow14 - Welcome to the Forum !! As rick said we really need pics to be of much help to you. But none of the coins you mentioned is of particular value in circulated condition.
