This guy will be broke in no time. He must work for the government!http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...83905&_trkparms=tab=Watching&autorefresh=true
I can't wait until one of those bookmarks he's selling shows up on my doorstep; geez at those prices; I'm going to be able to spoil my wife and friends for Christmas this year...or better yet, her birthday!!! :high5: -LTB
What is the deal with this guy? Maybe he just wants people's names and addresses to come rob you because you have coins....I know that is really a bad thought, but that is what came to my suspicious mind....
So if the bookmark sells for $0.01 and the buyer pays with paypal, how much does paypal get? I can't figure out what is worse, the guy selling a paper clip or the guy buying a paper clip. It would be funnier if he listed these with a BIN of $0.01 or BEST OFFER.
imagine, 15 cents for all of those paperclips he listed. That is about as nutty as paying 49 bucks for a current year dime...
Up here in Maine, we call this type of business plan the "Levinsky Method" after a 3-generation failed haberdashery family business. Grandpa & Dad built it up, but junior killed it off by selling for less than cost. His theory seemed to be "but we'll make it up on volume!" NOT!!
I think the seller is trying to get 10 detailed seller ratings. He needs that for the rating to start showing on ebay.
The guy has 1500+ feedback. I'm thinking a practical joke by someone who can access his account or just someone who's P.O'ed at him. An angry friend, wife, ex-wife, etc. It's not costly, but what a pain in the ### to have to honor all this silly auctions to avoid the neg. feedback
Folks used to do this type of thing to build positive feedback. I think this guy wants the "5 Star" detailed seller rating. He needs 10 ratings for it to start showing. If I understand this correctly it would lower his Ebay fees.
