I recently found a 1992 penny, no mintmark, that resembles a Close AM penny. When you look at a wide am compared to this penny, you can tell the difference. Although, the "FG" on the side of the memorial, doesent seem to be as far away as what i've seen for close am pennies. I would get some pics up, but my scanner is broken, but I'll see what I can do with a camera. The "AM" in America are NOT touching, but are very extremely close. Tell me what you think, when I try to get some pics up. thanks!

Here's the best one i could get. It's closer then a Wide AM, but not as close as what i've seen before for close AM's.

Looks like a wide AM with probably a worn die making them appear closer together. Keep looking; I hope you find one.

I looks wide to me, but can you get a more direct picture?

Yes it looks like a wide A M . The initial ' G' is the normal 1992 'G' for the wide A M. Don't feel bad, I've jumped out of my chair many times on teasers such as yours. My close A M is coming, I can feel it in these old bones of mine. When I find it and grade it, I'll sell it to you. Cheap!
