Bobbeth, selling to someone with a 0 rating isn't half as bad as buying from one with ZERO rating. This transaction should be interesting. Keep us informed, will ya?

since you can't neg a buyer anymore, I would be very skeptical of any bids from people with 0 feedback. I also believe that you can choose to not accept a bid according eBay rules from people with 0 feedback.

Also this: If I feel I had bid too much, what's to stop me from making a shill account and outbidding myself just to let myself off of the hook so to speak.

 

Well, all is well. Still no payment from the winning bid with the rating of 0, but I offered 2nd chance to the guy who bid $48 and he took it and has paid. I'll wait and see about the other guy, but I'm very happy to get the $48 (duh). If he doesn't pay, what do I do? I suppose I'll need to contact Ebay so I don't get clobbered with fees...

And, I put 3 more up for bid, 2 of them on a 24 hour auction.

 

$48 for a 2009-P dime!!! He should spend his money on something he really needs... like a psychiatrist!!!
