On a related note, it's not just Ebay. I read once that on average, more than 30% of American's household items, everything from clothes to food to electronics, are fake knockoffs, and the store that sells them doesn't know any more than than those who buy the stuff. Ebay is a little fish in a big pond of consumer fraud.
