I picked this up as a birthday gift to myself when it was my birthday. I'm not sure if it is natural or not though. That is where I need your thoughts/answers. Is it AT, NT, or do you need better pictures? I admit ahead of time, I had a tough time trying to capture this coin accuratly, so the pics aren't the best. But maybe they are good enough. What say you? Phoenix
This is one of the coolest toned coins, I've ever seen! Maybe the best toned wheatie ever... Very nice, and I'd be willing to say natural
Whoa, slow down there Travis. It is nice and IMO, original, but no way is it the best ever. Visit the http://www.cointalk.com/forum/t34312-49/ thread and look at Leeg's Lincolns. Some of his might have a shot at best ever!
Amazing coin. If you like graded coins send to NGC. Would get a 65/66 with a star designation I think or it definitely should. Congrats
I second that opinion. His coins leave you speechless. Has some 55 S's and 56? years that are beyond comprehension, flat out the most amazing coins I have ever seen in my life!!!
Whoa, slow down there Boss. Leeg's Lincolns are awesome indeed, but the most amazing coins you have ever seen in your life. Maybe the most amazing Lincolns I can accept, but when compared to toned collections like the Bingham or Sunnywood collections, Leeg's and my collection fall a little short. If you like Lincolns, check out Robec's (NGC Forum) Matte Proof Lincolns. http://coins.www.collectors-society.com/registry/coins/SetGallery.aspx?PeopleSetID=32291
I think it's naturally toned. I never thought Lincoln would look so pretty in pink...and blue...and yellow...and green! Bruce
Lehigh is dissin my coin. Haha, I'm joking. Thank you guys for the comments. Now that I have what you guy's say, I think I'm going to send it in to NGC and see what they say. Thanks! Phoenix
While I can't eliminate that the coin is AT, my sense is the coin is NT... ...and lest I remind some of our more vocal posters that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
