I lost credit card, and had to order a new one. I forgot about my order for my pennies, and I changed the billing information on my account at the mint, but my stuff shipped today, the same day I correct my billing information. My real question here is, does anyone know if I am going to get fined or anything for giving the wrong information? It says my item shipped, did they really ship and then try to charge me later?
no matter what happens, you wont be fined. If they shipped your order, then its possible they used the new charge info. If you really need to know, call customer service. They should be able to provide you answers.
they can transfer the balance on the old card to the new card. if they call you and you agree to that amount that you have ordered.
you might be banished to bogyland! LOL. I would not be over concerned. Just call Customer Service immediately and explain . More than likely they will be able to correct the charge information. If you have online banking, check and see if it hit your account as yet. As far as the del. information, if you put a fowarding of new information at the P.O. you should get it anyway. Just call CS and see what they can do. Good luck.
I would call CS at the mint and talk to them. Changing you credit card information on file at the mint DOES NOT change the card information on orders already placed. When they try and bill the credit card company the charge will be declined unless it went through before you canceled the stolen card. If it is declined and it hasn't actually shipped they will cancel the order. So call CS explain what is going on and try to get everything straightened out with them. If you have other orders with the mint make sure they change your credit card on those orders as well.
I changed my information on my account, and a couple days after they shipped my item, my credit card was billed. My guess is that someone looked at the billing information on my account after they saw my previous charge not go through and simply billed that one.
