Struck through grease?

    Found this one I think it is struck through grease :)

    Both reverses are normal, any of them any good?

    The first coin is die wear, and the second coin is post mint damage no value to both

    The first one looks like it may have been struck through a die cap (its definitely not die wear)... can we get a picture of the reverse and a better pic of the front?

    The second one is post mint damage.

    The picture of the first isn't good and it could be struck through a late stage die cap, or it could be post mint damage. The second is post mint damage.

    Now that i see the coin better looks like the coin was tampered with post mint damage

    Hi,

    The first coin is absolutely one that has been struck through a late stage die cap. The second coin was tampered with after it left the Mint. It was either acid dipped or used in some sort of experiment in a science class that involved electrical current.

    So, first coin= genuine error

    second coin = 1 cent

    Those were my thoughts as well Bill but I was a little unsure... I was having a little trouble wrapping my head around it.
