I have a Canadian two cent piece from 1900. And an American half dollar from 1923 that's 50% silver. Does anyone have a rough estimate of what these coins may be worth? Much appreciated if you know! -Comoregion
Comoregion Without pictures it is difficult to estimate values, the US could be anywhere from melt (silver) value to a lot of money. By the way, the US $1/2 is 90 % silver, not 50%.
Sorry, but you must be mistaken. I am pretty knowledgable on Canadian coins and a two-cent coin(to my knowledge) has never been produced. There was a three cent coin made in, I think, 2001, but was a proof collector issue. Lets see some pictures so we can see what you are talking about.
