California i would imagine.

 

as far as i know, there's a long beach in washington, in oregon, and in california (for west coast, unsure of east coast)

Btw I wish I could come, but it's just too far.

 

As much as I'd love to go, the LA area is just too inconvenient and far for a coin show.

Almost met Magman. Met CaveTroll and Jack obviously as well as Acanthite (Brad).

this trip the new truck gets darn near triple the mileage and is much more comfy.....remember those $125 fillups?

we are going to the same pastrami deli and the same breakfast nook, you'll rmember those well i am sure only we wont bring our own teabags:hug:

Wow, Snaz's determination is outrageous....

I did not realize he has a 5 hour drive to the airport, 2 planes with a total fly time of 6 hours. I could not then put the youngster into a truck for 6 more hours......

We will hang at my place for the night and hit the road in the morning Thursday...should arrive early or mid afternoon

brad and I have kicked a few back since that first long beach meet, he is one of my fav ct'ers to meet up with, and yes the guy has an eye, no doubt

Gonna freak you out there Shawn. It really IS a dry heat. 100 there is like 70 here.

Now as for the menu. A Rueben is a wonderful choice with a Sam Adams. As for the breakfast nook.
The hash browns were delightful. Hell, the whole meal was. Although I brought my own tea they did have a decent selection of Bigelow (I prefer Stash or Twinings these days).

A nice Earl Grey is always a refreshing wake up. Hard to mess up just some are better than others. Clembo's pick of the day.


So Shawn it sounds like you'll be at the AZ Jack crib. Give Sheila a big hug for me. A lovely lady - hell she puts up with Jack.
Also give my buddy Page some attention. Supposedly not a "people" cat but we was buds in no time.

Man I wish I was going again. Someday again I suppose.

Hey. Are any of you guys going to be at the coin show this saturday in Long Beach? I'm planning on driving up with my dad on sat, and it would be fun to meet a fellow CT-er or several! I've been on this board for 2 years, but have yet to meet anyone in real life.....so sad for me.

 

Johnny, I hate to say, we will not be there Saturday, we are leaving Sat morning for Hollywood and LA. Stop by The Penny Lady's booth, she is a coin talker, and Eagle Eye Coins booth as well, both are great nice people, and experts in the field........

Hey folks, The Snaz is here and well. Loving Arizona and the heat, never saw a cactus before, LMAO.
