A little after we closed Friday night, my office clerk called me and said I got a 2$ bill that's different from the rest of them. I liked hearing that and went back to the cash room and a red seal was on the counter. Someone bought a lotto ticket with it, and I picked it up for face. I know it's only worth 2$ but I thought it was cool. I love picking up old currency and coins for face. There's been a tremendous amount of world coins show up as people cash in the old coin jars too.
How come i can see squat. Im logged in properly and all I see within the body of sublimes post is 2 small little x's that do nothing when I click them
I see the full links, but get this when I click... "Invalid Attachment specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator"
i too, dont see any image.. BUT pickingup a red seal for face is certaintly somethign that makes it a good day
It came out ok on another board he posted on in. Here's the note: Common series, but the note appears to be in very nice condition. Definitely a keeper! Not sure if the centering is off that much or if his scanner tries to get 'smart' with edge detection. What's strange is that the person who spent it didn't tear off a corner to cancel the bad luck associated with the $2 bill..especially since they were buying a lottery ticket!
It is in great condition, that is for sure And you got it for face!!! I paid $5.33 for mine... Here is what mine looks like $2 Red Seal
I found one just like this and also a red seal 5 same year in the register where i work. Both in great condition.
Would you please go into more detail on that? I'll have to open my safe-deposit box and check it. I always thought the $1 was the more valuable of those bills.
