Sometimes the easiest way to sent a lower valued coin is to place the coin in a individual folder inside a small envelope and mail the coin in a bigger envelope ( making sure it is safe) with a couple stamps. All of the Post Offices are now getting rid of the stamp machines and you have to go directly to the counter to get postage. The problem for me being, I leave for work at 6:00 am and leave at 5:00pm to go home which leaves no time to get to the post office. At least I can get rolls of stamps from the grocery. I also used to get dollar coins from them in change
????? My local PO has a machine that prints postage labels for packages and lets you pay with a credit card, and two coin/currency stamp machines that give dollar coins in change.
