Okay the next run of IHCs - again most are 64's or 65's. Don't hurt yourself on guessing the color cause the pictures are not he best. I will show you a couple in another post in this thread. And yes Charmy that 1885 fit in perfectly. It does have the die crack on the reverse - with the coin in hand I can trace it across the ribbon. Actually best viewed as thumbnails the 1886 type 1 is low MS. Now if I go lower the turn into vf- au(maybe one or two MS coins). I still have the 89 upgrade to find.

Very nice coins, my favorite is the 1887 by far!
The hint of blue toning, along with that beautiful touch of brown, really brings out the coin! :)
I am loving these indians mark! :)

Oops first the 1894 upgrade. Just trying to show the luster than sits on some of these puppies. Enjoy and all comments are always welcome.

The three - 1883 the third is the closest to luster and color. Playing with the angle and the lighting.

Next the 1887 - no hope for it. The coin is closer to number 2, but has subtle blue toning the first picture hints at. The coin is graded bn and is very nice indeed.

Now THAT'S what I want my IHCs to look like.

I'll probably start my IHC collection at the Baltimore show coming up June 12.
I'll be after a short set for a start (1895-1909).
    I already have several for my type set (1859, 1862 & 1909).
    Plus I've got most of the keys/semi-keys (1864-L, 1877, 1908-S & 1909-S).
Now all I need to do is fill in all the open spaces.
Your coins would fit well into my intended set.

    Those are very nice Mark!
You are like me, no matter what size those copper cents are: large or small, old or not so old, copper is just nice!
    Congratulations,
    Eduard

Thanks all! The 1881 is mostly red, but graded RB. Looks like the only 65 is the 82 - appears all the rest are 64's except for the 86 which is a 62. I am now down to 2 for the set to be complete(1870,1889) - but there are 4 I want(2 needed, upgraded 1892 and 1886 type 2). I might upgrade those prior to 1879, but I am just not sure at this point.

And you are correct eduard I really like all the coppers - big and/or small.

Mark , I love MS-64s , usually with enough looking you can find 64s with more eye appeal than 65s , and by looking at your set you've been looking hard , I would of thought most of yours were 65s .

Yes, Mark, as everyone else has already said, you have a wonderful Indian cent collection - and I'm glad to see both the 1885 and 1894 fit very nicely into your beautiful set!

Very nice, Mark - nothing like shiny copper to make your day!

I am on the lookout for a nice PCGS MS 64+ or Proof 1893 with lots of dark colorful toning. If you see one, let me know.

Edit - I took the liberty to look at the other wonderful coins in your photobucket account. WOW!

Amazing that someone with an MS69 1793 large cent can still appreciate those coins. :)

Will trade you my graded IHC's for one of those chain cents. :) Seriously I would check The penny lady inventory, along with Rick Snows inventory. Ask Charmy questions on the coins and she will answer.
