Hey everyone! This is the other 8 Reales coin my Grandfather passed down to me. It has the FT Mint mark, does anyone know what/where that it? Lets here those opinions!
The o-over-M mintmark is Mexico city. The F and T were the assayers. F is Antonio Forcada but don't know about the T. I can't comment on the corrosion/toning/grading as I don't have much experience with that. However, the details on the coin are nice and it doesn't show quite as much wear as your other coin.
FT is not the mint mark - that is the assayer's initials. The M with the little o over it is the mint mark - for Mexico City.
