Hey found this in my change and I have 3 questions
    1. Is this an error?
    2. What grade is this?
    3. What is it worth?

Yes. what on the 5$ bill?

The book says $15 in XF. Not sure what the grade is. Is the back upside down on the bill? If so worth way more? Where do you see an error? Great find from circulation. The red stamp is post BEP from a bank.

It looks to be a little off center, but not a major error...
It is slightly printed, a little off
In an okay condition, might be VG-F...
Shouldn't be WORTH more than a little over face value

When it is off-centre(unless printed off the sheet) it is less-desirable than one perfectly centred. So basically it would be worth less to a connoisseur. But I guess in that condition it really wouldn't matter. Nice find regardless!:thumb:

Note looks to grade about fine but a partial teller stamp. Absolutely no error value.

A keeper but I can't see someone paying more than $10 and that's being generous.

    Sorry. :(

off center notes are valued differently then coins. If a note is way off center like yours, it actually detracts from the value, as has been said. If the design of the note is cut into, now that is a different story. And the more the note is cut into the design, the more the note climbs in value.

Teller stamp and all... a cool grab from circulation. You done good :)

haha, and you can tell i know nothing of currency lol I thought the off center made it more valueble

It's not really an error until you can see part of the adjacent note's design. The margins are designed to allow variability in placement of the printings and cutting.

Another tidbit, hold the note up to the light and you'll see the obverse design is smaller than the reverse. This is intentional because they knew how difficult it would be to align the front and back perfectly. So instead, they didn't even bother trying and modified the design to make the misalignment less noticable.
