Today an old customer of mine was at the flea market and had a small cigar box full of world coins and paper money; he wanted $20 for them so I said, what the hey, so I bought them. I went back to my counter and looked through the coins and lo and behold look what I found! When I get a chance I will post the bills in the Paper Money Section. If you want to see any one coin closer let me know!:D

Very nice, especially if you get coins for or below face! :)

Here is one of the coins that I have no clue what it is and if its even real. I high-lighted what detail I could see. It appears to be made of tin and is really thin.

    Here is the obverse:

I'm pretty sure it's a shilling of Livonia from during the Swedish occupation (1629-1721) after the Swedish-Polish War (1626-1629), during the rule of Queen Christina (Kristina). The area is now split between Latvia and Estonia IIRC.

If you search for Livonia on VCoins you'll see lots of examples.

Wow! Thats it. Thanks! I was thinking it was from around that area but wasn't sure on what to look for. After seeing prices on those it appears mine is worthless, but hey, Its still a piece of history.:D

Thanks again I have finally narrowed it down to one. This is it(at least what it is supposed to be). The year is 1653.
