you might try www.oldcurrencyvalues.com , it won't cover everything, but it does it a lot of the large size notes.
This site usually has prices which are at least somewhere in the ballpark of what you can expect to pay for a note: http://www.ewebnation.com/swcgs/Currency_Price_Guide/Currency_Price_Guide_index.html ...your best bet though is probably to just search the archived auctions on Heritage.
