Is this a "how many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop" question? I don't know, ask the wierd owl. But seriously, just look at circulating coinage and you should get a pretty good idea.
Well, I'd put it in circulation... We'll never know ho bad the coin will get worn, and we'll never see the coin again....but we'll know it happened.. lol
That is like me living in Florida asking a coin with a D mint mark what route it took to get here, and how long did it take you. I have to admit sometimes I actually do ask coins questions, none have answered back yet. I guess this will be a problem when I do think they are answering me.
It's only when they start arguing with you that you have a problem. Now it's a BIG problem when they start winning LOL!
rubbing the crystal ball here. I say 25 years, 3 months, 14 days, 6 hours, 27 minutes and it will be faceless. I guarantee my results to be accurate within 1 century.
Never. With 10+ years of national park quarters coming out next year, these will never circulate. They will sit in jars, bags or bank vaults for ever.
Didn't think about that... I bet now, because people listen to Mike Mezack and Alan Skantze, that they will think that these state quarters are so rare... So HSN can just jack up the price, and bada-bing-bada-boom, they made money, just off of a new quarter coming out... And they will continue to use these lines, to draw in all customers "Each state quarter was made for ten weeks, and ten weeks only, and by law, after the ten weeks, they can never be made again, never be made again" "We have them in uincirculated condition, this is the condition you want, when you get them out of pocket change, they are only worth a quarter" "In stock, ready to ship" "They come in the beatiful RED OAK display case here" "It is not a choice, or option, you get both sets, both sets, 1 P and 1 D, for only $129.95" So it wouldn't surprise me, that state quarters become a little harder to find, but not too much. I have still yet to see a territorial quarter, who knows, maybe the territorial quarters become so much harder to find than any state quarter
WOW! Those are some beat up pieces I can say that! But since this thread is about coins being worn, I'm giving you two thumbs up! :thumb: :thumb:
