The guy on HSN I have to say is excellent at what he does. He also has some statements he uses a lot. Two come to mind right now are: "Never made or intended for general circulation" & "Untouched by ungloved human hands". Then he will remove one from an airtite or mint pack and put his fingers all over it. Ever notice how everyones fingernails are always nicely manicured? Living the good life selling cooins on TV.

    Some More...

    "in stock, ready to ship"
"The hardest thing in the marketplace today, is not to buy gold coins, not to buy gold coins, it is to find them, to find them"

He likes to repeat a lot of things he says... :D

Once I was flipping through the channels and stumbled on him at a half hour or hour commercial for state quarters that had virtually just started. He talked for the entire hour or half hour, can't remember how long it was. He never stumbled on a single word, they words just flowed perfectly the whole show. But, he sure comes across at times at being very impressed with himself.

Really, that is exactly what I think! LOL
He always gives a smile, after he talks, and says, these will sell out, like if he didn't say all that, they wouldn't sell out
But you have to admit, he is an amazing speaker.. :)

I only watch those shows everyonce in a while when nothing is on and its only for about 30 seconds at a time. I'd rather watch anything else really, even golf. I'm not that much of a T.V. Person anyway. I'd rather make something, or make something blow up:)

Well it COIN SHOPPE is on again...
For the next two hours, I'll be listening to Paul Hollis say the same thing over, and over, and over, and over, and talk about the N.O. mint, and how he touches millions of dollars worht of coins, blah, blah, blah...
I like the HSN coin collector better :)

When the tall guy from HSN is displaying, for example, a set of RAW Kennedy halves, points at one, and says, "That's a 30 dollar coin, right there! The next one is a twenty dollar coin! And another twenty! That's SEVENTY DOLLARS right there! We're only charging $59.99 for the WHOLE SET of ALL years and mintmarks!", that's lying. He in particular is constantly stating values for coins that quintuple what any rational coin collector would pay, and make you think you're getting a deal because he's only charging you TWICE what they're worth.
