1958-D Wheat Cent Struck Through? Thoughts

    Found This going through 300ish coins from a local dealer paid $0.08 for it, which I think is a good purchase...anyway what do you the the
    1. Grade of this coin is?
    2. Value?
    3. Should I keep it? or sell and get more pennies!

    By the looks it does apear to be a strike thru. You need to lighten the pic up to be sure, i would keep it looks like a nice strike thru

    Yeah that's a strike through and looks to be MS62/3 BN

    Goldstone,

    1. It is somewhat hard to tell from the pics but I would venture that the coin would grade at about MS-62RB.
    2. The value would probably be $1 to $3 with the Error which is actually a De-Lamination Error* (Lamination peel and separation) and not a Strike Through. *A piece of the outer layers of the coin peeled and separated from the coin and is evidenced by the "CA" in AMERICA and the Wheat Stalk still showing sub-surface. (A Strike Through would have obliterated the same!)
    3. It would be best to hold onto the coin as the value would not help much in any purchases.

    I have posted edited pics that better show the De-Lamination Error and the condition of the Reverse.
