1984 d rpm??

    I posted this in the error section also, hoping someone can tell me yay or nay on this one. I know the pics are not the greatest, but thought that I may have a RPM. Any help appreciated, thanks!

    Hello dcure,

    It seems to be a classic case of machine doubling, especially since the mint mark which was added separately until 1990 shows the same flattening in the same direction. They can be deceiving until one gets use to them. here is an excellent url to read through.

    everyone goes through the stage where MD looks like the real thing until "it" clicks.

    I was hoping you meant the quarter. There appears to be an unreported RMM on the '84-D quarter.

    The cent appears to be machine doubling.
