For those of you that have been talking with me on the AGE Uncirculated $10 and 5$ coins..I have finished the 1986 thru-2005 set in each denomination..now I am going to work on the 1/2 Oz ...I would say that the the most expensive ones were the common date error with the "W" struck by proof dies...but I have managed it..Whew!! :D

  Very cool !

I'm halfway through my $10 coins in Uncirculated. Next I think I'll start a proof set in $50. Something tells me that will go a lot slower.

Hey Bacchus... Thats great as well. As for the $50 all I have thus far is the 2002 in Proof and the 1996 and 2001 in Unicrculated..and yep it is going a lot slower!!!

The coin that gave me the most trouble getting was the 1994 1/4 oz..wowzer bowzer what a bone that was to dig up. Keep on going and keep in touch on this..the 1/2 oz' ers are no joy either..the the 1991 is now around $900

    Good hunting to you...

I have mine in ring-type Air-Tites with the white rings. They look great, especially as the quantity increases. ;)

Thanks ! They’re a little harder to track down than probably most domestic coinage; most of the local dealers either don’t carry them or they used to carry them but aren’t motivated to keeping more than one year in stock.

I’m guessing they’re still easier to collect than darkside coins, though. Maybe it’s because I’m not searching for them, but I don’t see many dealers advertising darkside coins in Coin World. I’m guessing the collectors buy from either very specialized dealers here or very big dealers who have everything, or from overseas sources.

Hey Bacchus..man we think alike except that I have the black ring..I go to air-tight website and order bulk for cheap money..I just secured a 1992 1/2 oz AGE today on layaway 50% down 50 % in 15 days...Ouch the 1/2 ouncers hurt the pocket book!!!
    Good hunting..

Good tip for darksiders, Conder !

I was hoping to find a website for the magazine (like Coin World's), but the best I could find were a lot of references to subscribe:

    World Coin News

There is such a site, but it's not quite like the Coin World version. It's more of a mix of articles and previews from both Numismatic News and World Coin News - Click Here

    Bacchus...

For the 1/10th OZ Proof AGE..all I need now is the following to have the Uncirc and Proof sets in house...92,93,94,95,96,97....this is really geeting cool...the majority of the 1/10th AGE are slabbed as PCGS MS69 and Proof DCAM 69....for thw 1/4 oz Proofs I only have from 2000 thruy 2005..and need to fill the gaps to complete the series of both Uncirc and Proof of this denomination.
Keep in touch..and good hunting to you.
