I am looking for a book or some articles that talk about the different types of mistakes on coins that come out of the U.S. Mint. I will explain more, cause I'm sure there are a few are gonna give the generic response "Any mistakes." and leave it at that.... Expansion of what I'm looking for: I have seen a few double struck coins, and I have scene some misaligned struck coins. But some of the others that I have not heard of that I have seen recently are the ones where the side are messed up, or "raised bubble look" is on the coin because a certain part of the metal didn't sink down with the rest of the strike. I mainly ask this question because for the most part through looking at any new coin I get from the mint, I stare at it for a while and through that process I usually end up looking for any rarities in it. I know of a few generic things to look for, but does anyone know of what all I should look for, any things that some people just might not think to look fr on a coin. Maybe something that is often looked at as part of the coin and normal? Any book or article suggestions on the subject would be appreciated. Even your own two cents would be appreciated, even if all you wanna do is say Look for any mistakes on the coin" and leave it at that, lol.
