I just picked up a 1914-D cent in VG at the chicago Midamerica coin expo for $155.00. DO you think that is a good price?

(would post Pic but scanner broken)

it looks like unslabbed (I assume that yours is unslabbed) 14D's in VG are selling for about $115-145 on eBay, so it looks about right. Are you convinced that a TPG would agree with the grade? If so, it probably was a good buy.

    Good luck and enjoy it!

Only going by what you have posted, I would say that it is a very good price........................... for the person doing the selling. Sorry about that but they must have seen you coming. [IMG]

    Is it slabbed?
    And if so...who slabbed?

I say you got a good deal...I paid $110 for mine in a PCGS G4 slab....

It isn't slabbed but there was a guy threre who used to slab for one of the 3 grading companys ( I forgot which one) and all the dealers recomended him. He said it was VG
