Ask us how much to bid on a coin when it is like 1 or 2 hours before it ends...

eh, not really worth bidding on IMO.

Not to sound harsh, but doing ebay auctions in the style you seem to be taking, is not really conductive to some of the main parts of collecting. Patience & Learning. Like many things in life, when you are in a hurry, thats when problems/accidents occur. JMO

    All true...
Just be patient, and NEVER chase a coin... If the coin's price makes you uncomfortable, just let it go, I know it is tough, I've done it with lots of coins, but I'm happy I did :D
Just be careful when sniping, and make sure to take a good 5 minutes on reading the descriptions, the return policy, and PAY ATTENTION to those photos...
    Good luck goldstone... :D

Thanks I really do try to just look for the best deals, I am a new collector with an awfully low budget any ideas?

Pick a set, and stick with it..
Now, we as collectors do say that a lot!!!

I'm working on only two sets right now...
Indian Head $2.5 graded by PCGS AU55+
    And NGC MS63+ Morgans

At the moment I have an extremely low budget, I am spending the money I have on things that can make me profits, so I can slowly go up money wise...
Now, I like what you are buying seated dimes...Stick with it, maybe save your money, and try to get them in higher grades, graded...
Start out with some affordable ones, then knock us off our feet with a semi key date, or a really high grade :D

If I were bidding on this item I would cap out at about 15 but I dont go for lower grades in this series when there are realtively better grades available affordably. Thats just me.

    Heck, it closed at $8.02.

Way too high with those reverse gouges.

Be happy that you lost it.
