Well, just think you are almost done my friend...And once you are done, you can brag about the uncirculated us type set you have...
Very nice set! The barber half will be, by far, the most expensive in uncirc condition. I've got one going in my Dansco, but only have AU as my requirement.
Very nice set, I would add this one piece of free advice though. (It's worth the price... LOL) If you are interested in uncirculated silver coins to put in your type set, why not get a nice Capitol Plastics holder? Two main advantages: 1) The coins will be visible from both sides. (very handy when you want to admire the reverses) and 2) the holder, being plastic, is inert and you can be sure it will not impart an ugly tone on the coins over time. Capitol makes many nice holders in different colors, or you can even have one custom made. They will really make your unc coins jump off of the page, so to speak. That's just an old man's 2¢, I LOVE your type set! Keep up the good work!
Yeah that barber half will be a tough one... luckily I didn't spend very much on the rest. The most expensive one in there right now is probably the walker and it was given to me by a dealer friend.
I think that is a good idea! The only thing is that there are 2 blast white coins in there that I want to tone a little: the buff and the morgan. The pictures don't show it, but the morgan is super white and it shows all the little marks on it. The buff looks nice right now, but it has a semi-weak strike and I think a liitle golden toning wouldn't hurt its eye-appeal.
