    Hello,
I noticed in looking for a No. CA coin show that Beedon was putting on a Coin / Stamp expo in San Francisco. Anyone ever attend one of these shows? What can I expect there? Also if it is a good show/resource is anyone else going?

To my knowledge, Gary Beedon and Israel Bick are NOT doing shows together. Gary is involved in the Golden State Coin show in Arcadia (http://home.earthlink.net/~beedon/calshows.htm) which is a very nice 2-day show held once a year.

Israel Bick does put on a lot of coin and stamp shows all over California and Neveada. Though I haven't participated in his shows (IMO, he charges way too much for his tables), I hear from other dealers that some of his shows are good and others are not so well attended. He does seem to advertise quite a bit, but when I am thinking about attending a show, I contact the dealer to see how may dealers will be set up - that usually gives you somewhat of an idea on now large the show will be. And also look in the coin publications to see how well the show is advertised.

Is the one that is today. I will report back after my rounds. This is my first coin show. I am going to mainly look, but possibly fill in a few holes in my 9 missing lincolns if any are available here. Perhaps another piece of eight :)
