I just wanted to say hello to everyone. I have been trolling this board for a month now and thought I should join. I just started collecting a few months ago and I love it. I'm working hard on my complete set (including proofs) of state commemorative quarters! Quick opinion question. Did I overpay for a complete 1999 proof set (not the silver set)? I paid 30 bucks. That seemed high to me but I needed it and all the dealers around me wanted 40-45 bucks. I got it for 30 on ebay. Happy hunting!
Welcome ! I think you'll enjoy the board. :high5: re: 1999 proof set... Try the completed listings" feature on E-Bay. That will show you recent sales prices.
Welcome to the forum... And if you think it is a good price, than it is a good price... Your best friend, is ebay's completed listings...

One thing I've noticed about coins. People a lot of times are "afraid" they paid too much. On an item you spent $30.00 for, how much could have possibly overpaid? The question here is condition. Apparently you wanted in the first place so you spent the money. Any concerns should be is it in the condition you expect and desire it to be.

Welcome! I haven't been here long either, and am basically "soaking up the knowledge". I don't think you paid too much. If you enjoy it, it was worth it. :thumb:
