1974S Lincoln ~ Some sort of doubling..

In my latest roll searching, I've acquired about ten 1974-S pennies. On one of the pennies, I noticed that the word "God" and the date was just a bit thicker than the others. What do you think? I'm going to guess die deterioration, but hope for something cooler.

Hopefully the pics show it well enough.. the coin in question is on the right.

I think it is just a worn die.

 

what you have is type 1 (large date) and type 2 (small date)

what i like to look for is Lincolns hair style to tell the different types - type 1 has more detail hair compared to type 2
