This is my new favorite "unsearched" roll. I'm sure everyone has a few like this lying around... http://cgi.ebay.com/Unsearched-Whea...s=66:2|65:10|39:1|240:1318|301:0|293:2|294:50
That's awesome, any bets on if the rest of the "unsearched" roll is full of '57 D's And by the way, I'm not trying to be captain obvious, but if it's unsearched with an FE on one end and an IHC on the other.................how does the seller know it has any wheats in it????? :desk:
I love the ones with the dimes on the end... THESE ARE 100% UNSEARCHED, ALTHOUGH, WE JUST KNOW THERE ARE 49 PENNIES, AND THERE IS ONLY 1 DIME, THAT BEING ON THE END... BS!
On the bright side, the starting bid is only $50. :computer: PS, look at the pics and see if you can guess which end has been re-crimped. Sorry, I had to add this, look at the other jems he has sold. I could get rich selling rolls like this guy. I'd have to shoot myself though, I could'nt live with the guilty consious. click here
That certainly is a nice roll. :rolling: Look at the seller's other auctions...this is just sickening: http://shop.ebay.com/merchant/crazycrossen
I CAN TOP IT.... Check this one out. He tells a story, then pretty much tells everyone he is lying. Look at the last two lines of his dribble (I highlighted it in red). He's a Powerseller too, with bunches of these, lol. http://cgi.ebay.com/OLD-COINS-FOUND...QptZCoinsQ5fUSQ5fIndividualQQsalenotsupported Here's a good metal detecting story you don't want to miss-- but it is just a story. We found this old bank in an abandoned ghost town in Texas. It was left in the back of a desk drawer. Our metal detector was saying there was something in the drawer, so we had to pull the drawer all the way out, and then we saw it crammed in its hiding place for all these decades. THERE WERE MANY OLD FORT KNOX SAFES ALL WITH COINS IN THEM!! We opened one of the safes, and it contained 77 silver dimes, all from 1945 and earlier, with a few being barbers and one seated liberty from 1877. We are auctioning off the contents of the rest of the banks unopened and undescribed. They are all heavy with coins, as we can tell that by the way they jingle when moved around. There is no telling what each safe could contain. The safes are not included, we will just open up the FORT KNOX bank and pour the coins into a zip-lock bag and mail to you. We cannot tell what is inside, so it is sort of a bold risk on your part to bid. One person in the past has found early copies of type coins dated in the 1800's.... but that is highly unlikely. People in the past have discovered old Indian Cents and other early Lincoln pennies. This is meant to be a fun auction, for those who can't go out metal-detecting themselves. If you find something really great, we are all happy. It is sort of a risk on your part. But if you want the fun, then go ahead and bid. Well that's the end of our metal detecting story. Is it true? Either way you get some really old coins, and we keep the banks. Thanks for looking and bidding.
numasticbureau are trash sellers... they are liars, and they use the same picture for each listing, each and every one of their auctions is the same... I dealt with them, and had to learn the hard way...They are junk self slabbing, liars, who need to be put away, for a long, long time
tmoneyeagles: Tell us how you really feel! Seriously, I don't see how they don't have a much worse rating with the that garbage....
Oh jeez, don't play therapist with me.... LOL Now, I don't either... But as long as they make ebay money...They will be in business... Another thing about them I have a problem with, is when they give away replica coins, in their auctions, and most of the replicas have the replica or copy stamp RUBBED OFF
I have been watching both of these , the rolls have a good story, fairly plausible - at least at first, he comes and goes.. If it wasn't so much money I may have investigated further. The bottle of coins JUST FOUND or the tin bank, well, it plays somewhat shorter, he has been around for a while. There has been an add that shows a living room piled about a foot deep with old pennies, about the size of a bed. who knows. . Hyperbole, pure and simple. if you can give the public a fantasy, lost gold, mystery, and old bank, or my sucker weakness, shipwrecks,,, then you can sell snow to eskimos. Numismatic knowledge is way down. This isn't the 50's, not as many collect now. Some are true, a friend sold a pile of 1940-s and 50's quarters that were found after a home sale, didn't pick through them at all. . I found an 1816 harpers ferry musket in a remodel as a kid. A friend burried tin cans full of coins as a kid. -Then his family moved, maybe someone has found them. There is a guy who advertises britt and spanish colonials as metal detector finds near colonial williamburg, plausible.
