2008 proof set question

    I was out of the country for about the last 12 months so my coin collecting has been on hold. I just started looking into catching up and I see the 2008 proof sets are really expensive. Any particular reason why?

    Well can't say it any better than that...
    They sold out...
    And people got a little crazy...
    Now they are still high...

    I think its great to get people into coins and continue with coins. Who does not like easy money!@! (if you wanna part with them)

    Why? Well for one thing the 2008 proof set has the lowest set mintage since about 1962.

    anyone know how long the 2008 silver proof set will remain available for sale from the mint?

    I think The sillver proof will be available till sold out

    Littleton was trying to sell them earlier this year for $85. Ha
