    ...Oh she is so purty...lol
I want to make this a little fun, so try to guess the grade!!!
I got it very close to wholesale...
I think it might be undergraded, but I want your thoughts...

And sorry I have not been on guys, I've been trying to get on for almost 2 months now, and Peter fixed the problem :)

I do like the look of that coin, not only does the Indian look haughty but the Eagle does as well LOL Sorry I have no idea beyond extreemly nice on the grade :high5:

I'll reveal the grade to everyone in a few days...
I'm shocked, and I think everyone else will be too, of the grade of this coin...
I'll post some more pics, maybe from different angles...
Simply putting the coin under light, turning on the flash, all at the right angle, can really make a coin look great.. :)

Those quarter Eagles are so hard to grade IMO. My first guess was MS60, great coin :thumb:.

    Well thanks for that... LOL

    Everybody, it is an AU58....
    Here is the seller's picture...

By simply putting in good lighting, with a great angle, the AU58 looks Mint State +++

I'd say this coin was undergraded, I'll look at it some more under magnification.... :)

Here it is side by side with my other one...

65 is a crazy coin in this series. $6000+. I've seen very, very few in years of dealing with these.

Yeah, don't see a whole lot of 65's....
The coin would have to be well, well preserved! :D
    Boy O Boy, I wish I could get a 65 for $253... LOL

Yep.. you should be ! Looks like a winner. Lustrous.

It's all about the fields... bangs, nicks, gouges. They plague this series. Since there are no rims, they are more susceptible.

    Slightest imperfection makes a 62 go 58....
Some 58's look better than 62's at first site, it takes, time, and lots of practice and patience to grade these accurately.. That is why I buy them PCGS only, but... Sometimes they get it wrong..

I blame my over attributin to trick photograghy and sneaky lighting. Never, never again will I guess what grade a coin is, at least not until tomorrow.
AU58, XF40, PF-70 it is still a grand coin. Congrats to you.

No trickery here though...All real, no doctoring of any sort... :)

I'm still staring at her! Oh so beautiful...
She'll never be out of my site.. LOL
    Looks good with the 1912...
Now I'm saving up for a $10 Indian... That'll be a doozy, but a nice addition!

This is definitely a series of coins I would be very reluctant to buy unslabbed. After saying that the slab and grade does not appear to do this coin justice looking at the photos, a beautiful coin at a price you are very happy with, so big congradulations are in order. Looking at the actual coin instead of photos is it a candidate for a resubmit?

I just have to get a PCGS gold membership...
And find three other coins that are worthy of being submitted...
If I do get this coin re graded, I'm serious now, it'll come back as a mint state coin.. :)
