    I should have explained, that is an urban legends web site, snopes.com, where they compile urban legends and rumors and then research them and let you know if the rumor is true or false. If you look at the top of the article you will see: STATUS: FALSE.

    I think that if there are really people out there offended by animals, they need to go live in a cave or off-planet until they actually develop a life of their own. But that's just me.

    Interesting history on the "model" for the original buffalo nickels. I can see someone believing the recall only b/c in the 70's there was a Christmas stamp recalled b/c it too accurately depicted one of Michelangelo's statues (copyright issue). But beyond that scope.....find me one of these people who believes its being recalled so I can sell them a bridge I own here in NYC :p

    Did they say "obverse" side??

    Since the recall is a falsity does this make it yet another Bison "error"? Oh NO!!! :)
