vatican medal

    as you can see im new to this
    So i just one more for today
    Value and mintage of this vatican medal it is quite large i picked it up for 10
    No date's but bianchi is under the bust

    If it's from Pius X's time it's 1903-1914

    Well it is a lovely looking medal :hug:

    Giuseppe Melchiorre Sarto (Pius X), was the 257th Pope serving from 1903 to 1914 andhe gave regular sunday sermons (Now that is what I call a pope) he opend the vatican to survivors of the Messina earthquake as well :smile

    thank you for date and history he must have been a very good man
    Any idea about mintage and value .even as i would not sell it . I like to know the history of all my coin's

    Been doing a bit of looking on the net and sorry to say can not find that medal but then again that is not suprising, there were a number of medals issued during his papecy. If it is a genuine (From that date and not a repo) then it might well be worth a bit
