Wierd Variation of French 5 Francs 1949

    All these years I have never seen a French 5 Francs of this particular issue have a gold like yellow plating. But for this hue of gold, it is a typical KM #888b.1. I am not sure if this is an unregistered issue or someone's evil expirement on the coin.
    It weighs like alumnium so its not the brass version. Wonder what this is !!

    It looks spray painted, definitely someone messing around, not a mint thing.
