When it comes to slabbing coins, are all Graders legitmate ? I know from CT that most people prefer the top names; PCGS,or NGC, but have you ever heard of "International Numismatic Bureau" ? I have several slabbed coins I purchased and all are rated MS70.
I think that is highly unlikely for all coins to be graded the highest rank, but each have a serial number, so I suppose they are logged in somewhere.

    Shameless self slabber.

The name is also familiar to a crew on ebay called the numismatic bureau out of Minnesota. They used to run bogus auctions with photos of a huge vault over loaded with coins. They were running out of room and had to sell! There was no time to even look through the coins so you could get gold ones also! LOL

"but each have a serial number"

This means nothing. Without a website, address,or even a phone number they are not a legitimate grader. They buy coin world plastic and slab their own change.

Even in rural desert areas, they are readily available.

My holders have been used on Ebay to sell tens of thousands of graded coins at nice profits, mostly because they're just plain more professional looking than what's commonly being used. The main advantage is they actually seal, unlike the cheap plastic other sellers are either crazygluing together or slapping a sticker on and calling the end product a "slab". If you ever thought about making money as a seller on Ebay they're perfect for you. If you're interested email me at thinkgold@gmail.com and I'll send you some more information. Thanks!

Take them out and put them in something else quick.

You can be certain they are not MS-70 - I don't even need to see them - does that answer your question about "are all legitimate"?

Actualy keeping them in the holder wont hurt them LOL but the grades now that is another matter. Anyone can give a coin a grade and add a bar code to a holder but the question you have to ask is are they a reputable company?
