Boomtown is a casino chain with casinos in Reno and New Orleans among other places. If you contact them you might get the information you want. Just Google "Boomtown Casino".

These are called "silver strikes". Casinos put them out as limited editions. Some were won in slot machines, others given out in promotions. I have several I picked up a few years ago. They come in different denomination, $10. $20 etc. The $10 ones go for $10 and up, depending on rarity. Lots on ebay all the time. Centers are silver, usually 1/2 ounce, sometimes 1 oz.

Ten or fifteen years back you could win these in the quarter slot machines at many casinos and not only in the US.
If you won one it would almost scare you. It's a heavy token and they were in a plastic holder much like the US Mint uses today. When it came out of the slot machine it would crash into the metal tray so hard the holder would sometimes shatter.
I think most folks would just cash them in but many went home with the winner. The casinos loved it. They basically made ten bucks every time one left without being cashed in. I could be wrong but I always thought these machines were set loose to let folks win the token.

It's not a coin it's a private issued silver round.

Not really sure this would be called a silver round.
Token is probably the correct term.
