Over the passed few years I've purchased a few coins that are encased in a Littleton soft platic like slab with written information about the coin and scenic pitures in the background. I'm thinking of taking the coins out and putting them in air-tites so they'll be like the rest of my coins.

    Would anyone recommend this?

Go for it. These are just common decorative holders, but handle the coin by its edges or with gloves, just to be safe.

I would put them in airtites also.
