Very nice! I love "funnybacks". I think my 1928 star is fairly close to that in serial number. Will have to check it...
That is a really nice, crisp note! But at only a 63, it must be one of the low graded notes in your collection
Thought the serial number was closer...at least the first 2 digits match...and they both have a '98' near the end.
blue, red, gold, light green, forest green, yellow...I like them ALL, except for the one obvious one that I've omitted which is ok, but not visually appealing to me like the others.
Yep...I am not too crazy about the new "Black" Seals either! I for one feel we need a major overhaul of our Paper Money... I say, lets bring back the engravers of yesteryear!! SGR (RickieB)
Agree about the engravers, but the seal color I was referring to are the "Brown" seals. I only have 1 token national and a couple FRBN's in my collection though so I don't have to look at it too often.
Ohhh...the Small size Brown Seals..LOL I adore the Large Size Brown Seals and the Small Size are ok.... I despise the new black seals....uck!uck! and ugly!! Interesting facts coming up in the Paper Money Contest #3 on Small Size Brown Seals....you should play? SGR (RickieB)
Dang it! Forgot about my Hawaii silver certificates...I sorta like them. I'll probably attempt to play your contest...IF I remember.
