Hello All I have 2 consecutive Hawaii $1 notes that are in UNC Shape. The serial numbers are consecutive and I purchased them both on EBAY for 100 a piece. Lady said they came from her grandpas photo album from WW2 and had never been spent. Looked like he had received them UNC and just stored away till she found them after his death and had no idea what they are worth. Can anyone help me out? Should I keep or sell? If so sell should I sell each one seperatly or as a pair since consecutive.. Is this rare?
I wouldn't sell as the market seems to be weaker right now. Maybe wait until the economy improves. Or start collecting!
I would keep but that's because I collect. Also wait until a good economy to sell. If you are going to sell I would sell as a pair because you could probably get more as a pair.
Thats good to hear, welcome to the forum and i hope you stay around! There is always plenty to be learned on here and dont be shy to ask questions, we were all learning at one point (and probably will be learning forever)
