Hi all. New to the thread. I'm currently doing research on bank note printers and wanted to know if anyone is familiar with the Societe Technique d'Impressions Fiduciaires (STIF) based in Paris, France? I cannot seem to find anything about this company. I would like to know when it was in business and the extent to which it printed currency. I've seen a few printer's samples from STIF, but no actual notes. Your help is much appreciated.

I have never heard of them either... Also Dave M is possibly the forums leading expert on french notes So if he doesnt know... well
The only proof I have of this company's existence is a face model of a Bank of Canada note submitted as a porposed design for the multicolour series issued during the 1970s. Here's an image of the model.

Is it possibly a French Canadian company, rather than a French company? Maybe Montreal, not Paris, is the place to search for them.
